A wonderful walk above Swaledale.

This is my home area which I visit often as my mother lives in Kingsbury Episcopi and it was here that I painted this picture.

This was the view from our apartment! The late afternoon light and shadows from the houses in Pulteney Street, made this an irresistible subject.

Walking along the Wye is a most pleasurable activity, this route takes you up to Simmonds Yat from where it’s possible to watch the Peregrine Falcons soar across the valley below.
